Happy Holidays from the SlickforceGirl Family to Yours!
Twas the night before Christmas, when all through the house
were the footsteps of puppies who thought they heard a mouse.
The stockings were hung by the chimney with care,
and how great, with WMB 3D books and posters in there!
The Girls in their PJs gathered by the fire,
to give thanks to their friends, each of whom they so admire.
Erika dressed as Santa, probably because she lost a bet,
while Vanessa played with her new Mastering Lighting VIP Box Set.
And Kaitlynn was glowing, like an angel singing "Hark!"
But who's that? It's our newest hero, the peace-loving Penny Park!
It's that time of year again, and our Girls are giving a very warm "Thank You" to each other and to YOU for always being there when it counts. They've raided the SlickforceStore for some incredible gifts, where our 12 Days of Christmas sale is currently under way. So put on your comfiest pajamas, grab your hot cocoa, and pull up a spot under our festive tree.
From the entire SlickforceGirl team, we wish you and your loved ones the happiest of holidays!

Vanessa Valentine: Did You Hear Something?
The moment we first saw the work of illustrator Nathan Seals (who works under the Nathan's Comic Art brand), we knew he was a match for drawing our Girls. Not only does Nate render beautiful female characters, but what especially caught our attention was the way his art champions leading ladies of color.
No one but our heroine Vanessa Valentine is exactly sure just how long she's been marooned in space, but judging by the wide-eyed look on her face, this piece called "Did You Hear Something?" is most certainly near the beginning of her journey. Unfortunately, whatever is lurking in the shadows doesn't really care that Ms. Valentine is still an outer space newb—she looks like food.

The Making of SlickforceGirl Vanessa: Alien Blast
We had such excitement from our viewers when we posted Brett Parson's Alien Blast art starring our stunning space-traveler Vanessa Valentine. So here's a look at the making of that piece, from pencils to inks to final art. Thank you to artist Brett Parson for sharing!

Vanessa Valentine: Alien Blast by Brett Parson
It's official—things are starting to get messy for Vanessa. The days of the "regular" bad guy are quickly coming to a close, replaced by a scarier—and much more disgusting—brand of nemesis. Fortunately, Ms. Valentine is tougher than your average purple-haired astronaut. Let's just pray she has enough ammo in that pulse gun of hers.
This wickedly awesome scene comes to us from one of our favorite artists, Brett Parson, who gave us an amazing Airman Erika Arias last year. Click the photo above for the HD version!

Oscar Special: Vanessa Valentine — Red Carpet Stunner
It's awards season, and this year our gorgeous astrophysicist has managed to find her way back from deep space, just in time to walk the red carpet at the 87th Academy Awards. This beautiful piece comes to us from penciler Corey Knaebel, inker Jake Isenberg and colorist Mennyo. The SlickforceGirl team has an Oscar pool going, and while we're not entirely sure if any of our picks will win, we are quite certain that Vanessa will win Best Dressed.

Happy Holidays from the SlickforceGirls!
The holidays have arrived, and our Girls would like nothing more than to sit by the fire sipping hot cocoa. But it's not in the cards this year, as there is still plenty of work to be done (like saving Santa).
Enjoy this beautiful action-packed Christmas-themed art by illustrator Eduardo Garcia and colorist Danielle St. Pierre. Let's hope our heroes survive this epic winter battle so they can bring you more cheer in the New Year.
It's been an exciting 2014 for the SlickforceGirl team, and owe so much of that to you. Wishing each and every one of you a wonderful holiday season!
