Five years ago this week, we released the first SlickforceGirl teaser art ever. Since then, we've witnessed twelve original heroes come to life, each one unique in her ability to bring good to the world. To commemorate our 5-year mark, we're releasing the first team-up poster featuring all 12 of our heroes.

This beautiful artwork was a team effort in itself: drawn by the incredible Chris Williams, inked by the talented Jake Isenberg, and colored by the triple-threat of Ula Mos, Splash! and Blond. It's also been uploaded to our IMDB page, which chronicles every SlickforceGirl video released since the original "Vanessa Veasley Learns to Fly" in 2012.

Comikaze is only a few months away, so you know what that means...more Slickforce art is on the way!

Artist Chris Williams has been turning out a steady stream of stunning character pieces for the SlickforceGirl tribe this year. Here is his latest work featuring firefighter Kaitlynn Connor as she braves the inferno. This is our first time working with colorist Blond who did an incredible job capturing the warm/cool contrast, and we'll post the standalone inks by Jake Isenberg in a future entry so you can fully appreciate them.

Apparently, the SlickforceGirls are reaching the far corners of the globe. We just received this amazing artwork of our brave firefighter Kaitlynn Connor, by illustrator Ian Kafat in Tokyo—marking the first time a SlickforceGirl has been drawn as Japanese Anime.

What adventures will Kaitlynn encounter in the Land of the Rising Sun? How will she communicate? Do Japanese firefighters even use the same equipment? So many questions, so few answers.

Only one thing is certain: 少女達がヒーローに.

This is the part where I say, "Is it hot in here or is it just me?"

Hey guys, I hope you're enjoying the new SlickforceGirl illustrated pieces we've been releasing over the last few weeks. As a lifetime comic-book art fan, I couldn't be more excited to work with so many wickedly-talented artists from across the globe.

This Kaitlynn piece is particularly special for two reasons: 1) Because it is beautifully drawn by the brilliant team of illustrator Corey Knaebel and colorist Ula Mos, and 2) it's the first reveal of our brave firefighter's last name — Meet Kaitlynn Connor.

I'm also excited to announce that artist Corey Knaebel will be joining us at our booth at Stan Lee's Comikaze.
